FOOT LOCKER AUSTRALIAN JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Australian Junior Championships comprise of the Under-20 National Championship and Ivor Burge Championships for people with an intellectual disability. This is a showcase of some of the best young talent in the country, with many players going on to play professionally at the NBL or even NBA level.

Foot Locker asked us to team up with Corey “Homicide” Williams and film a piece to document the action, but also educate viewers on the significance of the tournament.

This was a rewarding and fun video to produce, not only to help Foot Locker market their brand and connection to grass roots basketball, but also to act as a time capsule for these young players at a pivotal time in their lives. We had filmed the same tournament in 2020, which featured Josh Giddey, Jade Melbourne and Dyson Daniels to name a few, and seeing them now apply their trade now in the US makes it special event to look back on.CREDITS
