NBA All Star, and arguably one of the greatest shooters of all time, Damian Lillard visited Australia and stopped by Foot Locker for a meet-and-greet. We were asked to document the chaos and freeze some moments for what was sure to be historic. 

The spirit of flexibility served us well on this one, with so much going on and so many variables making it impossible to predict and plan out many shots and moments. For example, Damian leaving the store and the mosh pit which ensued, and the decision to hang back and just let the crowd move around us rather than trying to keep up and try and get impossible shots (which worked out well in the end). 

The decision to put what we felt was the most engaging moment at the beginning was a deliberate tactic to grab attention immediately for what was going to be a video which lived on social media. To then “rewind” and start at the beginning, with establishing shots and the anticipation of guests, provided a great juxtaposition of energy and made this is video an all-time favourite of Foot Locker.
